The BBNC Events Team has formed. We meet on the second and fourth Thursday of every month, skipping holidays, from 6-7 pm.

Our first campaign is focused on film screenings in gathering places such as Indie Theaters, retirement communities, community centers, and college campuses. We need volunteers from across the state to contact venues to confirm interests and cost information. Please join the team!

This effort is assisted by funding from Unite America (UA) to show their film, Majority Rules, which is about Alaska's experience with ranked choice voting. Many thanks, UA! We look forward to hosting a statewide Zoom showing that includes the filmmaker, AJ Schnack, and founding volunteer, Nick Troiano, who urged the organization to focus on election reform.

The team intends to promote a series of films, including Slay the Dragon, which documents Michigan's work to end partisan gerrymandering and why citizen-led ballot initiatives can be essential tools to achieve pro-voter reforms to our election system.
